It's recommended that the initial dimensions of the smaller less expensive model be 20" wide (wide enough to store two pairs of shoes), 8" high and 15" deep.  That is the same width as a standard window A/C (20") and it also attaches to the window like a window A/C does.  Like a window A/C, It has two side extenders to extend its width to the width of the window.
